Entela, Inc. QSRD Grants ISO 9000/QS-9000/TE Supplement/ISO 14000 Certifications June 11, 2001 Launch GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan - Entela, Inc. Quality System Registration Division (QSRD), an accredited third -party quality system registrar based in Grand Rapids, Mich., recently granted registration certificates to the following facilities whose quality management systems were assessed and found to be compliant with the ISO 9000 quality standards and/or the QS-9000 automotive requirements and/or the Tooling and Equipment Supplement (TE Supplement) and/or ISO 14000 environmental management standards requirements. Companies must undergo a rigorous audit of their policies and procedures, operations, management and personnel to achieve registration to these standards. Facilities earning ISO 9001 registration have product design and manufacturing responsibilities. Those holding ISO 9002 registration certificates are manufacturing sites. QS-9000 contains all of ISO 9000's 20 quality elements in addition to three automotive-specific requirements. The TE Supplement contains requirements in addition to the QS-9000 requirements. This supplement pertains to the Tooling and Equipment industry and applies to both ISO 9001 and ISO 9002 registered companies.
